Gumbo Limbo Nature Center offers a half-day, week-long camp during the summer.

At Environmental Camp, children and teens will be immersed in the native world around them through outdoor fun and hands-on activities! Games at the beach, dip netting in the lagoon, and water sports are just a few of the outdoor adventures that bring our campers back year after year. Older campers learn to canoe and kayak and teens take a snorkeling field trip to Peanut Island. Campers will get one Camp Boca t-shirt.   Campers should bring a lunch and water daily.

2018 Dates, Times and Grades:

• June 11-15:  Children entering grades 1 & 2, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm
• June 18-22:  Children entering grades 3 & 4, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm
• June 25-29:  Children entering grades 5 & 6, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm
• July 2, 3, 5, 6:  Children entering grades 7-9, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm (no camp July 4)
• July 9-12:  Children entering grades 7-9, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm (no camp July 13)
• July 16-20:  Children entering grades 1 & 2, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm
• July 23-27:  Children entering grades 3 & 4, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

City of Boca Raton Resident: $125 per child per week.  Registration begins 3/26/18.
Non Resident: $156 per child per week.  Registration begins 4/9/18.

NEW!  Extended Camp

Extended care available until 6:00 PM for participants of Gumbo Limbo Environmental Camp. Campers will have a chance to relax, play games, make a craft, and watch a movie. Please send a healthy snack.
