3D Printing Workshops

Join us for interactive sessions with Allaxis 3D! These workshops are open to the public and are split into 2 separate age groups. All participants must sign waivers when they arrive. Cost is $50 per workshop and includes all materials needed. Register today at www.sfsciencecenter.org/3d-printing!

Classes offered on each date above:

“3D Printing & Design 101 for Ages 10 – 14” – $50

10:00 am – 12:00 pm

We want to help open the door to your child’s creativity by teaching them how to create their ideas in 3D! Students will learn how to design their ideas in 3D through the use of an easy to use 3D software program and then in turn will learn all about 3D printing as they 3D print what they design in class. This fun, hands-on class is designed for students to learn by doing and can serve as a stepping stone towards them learning more about becoming future designers & engineers!

“3D Printing & Design 101 for Ages 15+” – $50

1:00 – 3:00 pm

Whether you’re an artist, inventor, teacher or simply just curious and creative, this hands-on class is designed to teach you all about 3D design and printing! Students will learn how to digitally create their own ideas by using easy-to-operate 3D software and print their very first 3D designs! This session is geared towards the young adult and adult audiences.
